Mental Cubes by Astor [Estate Sale]

This item comes from an estate sale. It has been opened and remains in very good condition.

A spectator is invited to move any number of cubes (from 0 to 5) from the right end to the left end of the “MENTAL” stand. During this process, the magician turns his back. Once the spectator has finished, the magician reveals a cube—and the number on it perfectly matches the number of cubes moved.

That was just the beginning.

The magician now introduces six cards, each bearing a letter from the word MENTAL. Before the spectator makes any moves, the magician selects one of the cards. The spectator then moves the cubes as before. When the chosen card is revealed, its letter corresponds to a specific cube—and the number on that cube once again matches the number of cubes moved.

For the finale, the roles are reversed.

The spectator freely selects a card without looking at it, then moves any number of cubes. When the card is revealed, the letter identifies a cube—and the number on that cube matches, once again, the exact number of cubes moved.

Despite the compact size of the cubes, the bold lettering ensures the effect is clearly visible, making it suitable for both close-up and larger audiences.
