A small paper envelope sits on the table from the very beginning. Inside is a single metal token.

Five ESP cards are introduced and openly mixed. A spectator takes the packet, turns the cards face down, and freely selects any one. The card is set aside or slipped into their pocket. No one—not even the spectator—knows which symbol was chosen.

Only then is the token removed from the envelope.

A single ESP symbol is boldly printed on it.

The spectator reveals their card.

It’s an exact match.

There is only one token, and it never leaves the envelope until the reveal. There is no force. Any symbol can be selected, and the outcome changes every time. The spectator does the mixing. Only five cards are used. There are no sleights to master, the reset takes seconds, and everything can be examined.

Additional handlings are taught, including a version that replaces the ESP cards with a single business card—ending with your card in the spectator’s hands as a lasting reminder of the impossible moment they just experienced.
