Traveling Chips by R. Paul Wilson & Steven Delaere

Penguin Magic

$39.95

Color moves. Hands stay open. Everything travels.

Three poker chips—red, white, and green—are examined and held at your fingertips. With almost no sleight of hand, the impossible begins. One by one, the chips vanish from one hand and reappear in the other, right where everyone can see them happen.

This is Traveling Chips, based on an original idea by R Paul Wilson, with refined handling and clever additions by Steven Delaere. It’s a coins-across style routine that looks bold, clean, and unmistakably visual—teleportations happening at the fingertips, not hidden behind moves.

The finale pushes it even further. Two chips are displayed between the fingers. The third is placed into your pocket. A beat later, it materializes between your fingers—joining the others. The chips are immediately handed out for examination.

You receive bright, durable poker chips along with a specially gimmicked chip that does the work for you. There are no shells, no sliding parts, and no fragile mechanics—these gimmicks are built to last and forgiving enough for real-world use. (Yes, they’re that durable.) The handling is straightforward, the reset is quick, and the visuals do all the talking.

This set was a standout hit at FISM and Magic Live, selling out at both. In addition to the core routine, you’ll also learn a bonus handling from Craig Petty that fools magicians and laypeople alike.

Clean. Colorful. Impossible to backtrack.
