Two cards. Two signatures. One impossible souvenir.
Kyle Purnell has a knack for taking familiar plots and bending them until they feel brand new. With Tiny Dancer, he does exactly that—reimagining the Anniversary Waltz into a moment that’s visual, personal, and completely unexpected.
Two audience members examine an Ace and a Deuce. Each signs a card. You bring the cards together, face to face, and slowly squeeze. In full view, the cards visibly shrink. When you turn the single card over, the Ace and Deuce have fused into a Three—bearing both signatures. The card can be handed out immediately as a keepsake of something they just watched happen.
This is signature Kyle Purnell thinking: strong visuals, clever structure, and a result that feels playful and impossible at the same time. The handling is well within reach of most magicians and is taught in detail for both right- and left-handed performers. You’ll receive the necessary gimmicks to start performing straight out of the box, along with clear instruction throughout.
Kyle often uses Tiny Dancer as an extra finale to Pip Sleek 2.0, but no prior knowledge is required. A streamlined version of that sequence is taught as a bonus, making this effect fully self-contained.
It’s quick.
It’s personal.
And it leaves them holding the proof.
TINY DANCER — by Kyle Purnell
Two signatures.
One squeeze.
A memory that fits in a wallet.
"When Kyle first showed me this I was BLOWN away. This is the very best version of Anniversary Waltz I have ever seen. How Kyle managed to figure out a way of fusing two cards signed on the face AND shrinking them as well I have no idea! Commercial, creative, visual and expansive! Another massive hit from the brilliant Kyle Purnell" - Craig Petty
"The worst thing about this trick is that you will see the trailer first (there's no other way to sell it). I saw it in its early development, with no inkling of the ending, and I, and the pro magic guys with me, freaked out! No, really. Visceral shock!" - Ken Weber
"I’m a huge fan of souvenir tricks. Coins that bend in the spectators hand, personalized cards and impossible objects are great examples of such souvenirs. I’m also a huge fan of Kyle Purnell and he is offering a charming souvenir card trick in “Tiny Dancer”. The instructions are crystal clear and even include several bonus effects. And Kyle even teaches an ambidextrous explanation of “Tiny Dancer” for lefties or righties. Memorable and magical describe this effect which makes this a win-win for you and your audience." - Lonnie Chevrie
"Kyle’s ideas are always innovative. I have never imagined a signed card shrinking before. And his delicate touch and thinking make this magic even more perfect." - Jeki Yoo
"Nothing tiny here--this is huge! Love it." - Ben Harris
"Very cool. A multiple transformation, traveling signatures, and an impossible object all wrapped in a twist on the classic Anniversary Waltz plot. It’s a lot of magic in one tiny package!" - Francis Menotti
