About Howard Thurston:

Born in 1869, Howard Thurston rose from humble beginnings—running away to join the circus—to become one of the most famous magicians in the world. Mentored by Harry Kellar, Thurston would go on to headline the largest traveling magic show of his time.

Often billed as “The World’s Greatest Magician,” Thurston performed for kings, dignitaries, and audiences around the globe, winning not only their amazement—but their admiration.

His touring show was legendary—so massive it required eight train cars to transport.
