Petroleum by Max Lukian

Petroleum by Max Lukian is a card-magic utility built around a Triumph-style effect in which face-up and face-down cards apparently mix, then resolve with only the selected card reversed.

A signed card is lost in the deck, the cards are shuffled face up into face down, and the mixed condition can be shown from both sides. When the deck is spread, every card has corrected itself except the selection.
