A Little History
The very first thumb tip is credited to Professor Herwin of Bristol in the 1880s, who originally attached a piece of silk to the fake finger to create the illusion of a vanish.
Later, the Adams family refined the design, making the thumb more realistic and practical—helping transform it into one of the most enduring and widely used tools in all of magic.
More than a century later, it remains a secret weapon for magicians everywhere.
