Fraidy Cat Rabbit by Abbott's Magic
Here is an effect for audiences aged 9 to 99! This is the original pack flat, play big prop!
The image of the black rabbit turns white from fright when the audience yells boo! Then it turns back to black when they yell “boo backwards.” The audience is less than impressed, as it is obvious that the rabbit is just being turned around.
After the usual sucker business of turning the panel sideways and upside down, etc., the performer shows the back side to reveal...not the white rabbit face...but the black tail of the Fraidy Cat Rabbit! The white rabbit has now vanished completely.
Both doors of the holder are opened to show that nothing is concealed.
Item is in used, but fully operational condition. No instruction included.
This effect was created by Canadian magician Bill Paul in the 1950's, and improved upon by Gene Gordon, who was also the first to market it. Abbott's Magic later purchased the rights to manufacture the effect.
